Thou shalt not move to the sound of the wickedness.
Sweetie, when the battle is finished and you emerge--because you will make it through and be fine, I know it--please ward me. I'm running the triage and I'll be handling both critical cases and coordinating the transport of the wounded to St Mungo's, so I can almost promise that I won't be able to find you. So ward me, immediately, and let me know that you are alright. If you can believe it, once the triage is closed, I have to go home because I'm technically not working today at the hospital, and they don't want to give me overtime pay. Typical
I love you, very much. Nain will be watching over us today, I know.
Andromeda has pneumonia; she's going to be fine, but it's a virus, which is beyond the reach of healing. Given that she is contagious and that she needs to rest, I have Teddy, and he'll be staying with me for the week.
He is screaming his head off, and has been for five hours. As tempted as I am to foist him on his godfather so that I can have a smoke, I think that actually means that Molly Weasley will have Teddy within the hour, and I don't want her thinking I can't do this alone. When, however, I can't: I've been walking him back and forth across the flat, and I'm using a Dictaquill because he screams even louder when I put him down, and I am so exhausted, I can hardly function.
Please help. Or send Dedalus. Or send the DMLE. But help.
And remind me to discover a cure for colic.I bet Andie doesn't even have pn
Get this: Embeth was in my office, and I told her about my awful date on Saturday night, and I swear on Merlin's wand, Albus was snickering in his portrait. He didn't even try to hide it!
A portrait of Helga Hufflepuff would never have done that.
Well, I had my long-delayed date with the Quidditch player last night, and it was such a disaster that I think I have been turned off the sport in its entirety. Megan, Taid is forever banned from choosing gentlemen for me to go out with so you are to tell him so if he gets one of his 'ideas,' and since Kingsley's choices have also been disastrous, I am now swearing off any blind dates.
I'm sure I, like any good spinster, can get a job teaching at Hogwarts, which I think is preferrable to another evening with a male who seems to think my name is 'babe'.
Hello, sweetheart. I have three days off starting Sunday night, and I am going to come home until Tuesday night. I very much need some time away from the hospital and the city, and I am hoping that perhaps you could pop in to water my plants while you are in the city for the MWP. I know I could ask Dedalus, but I can't trust him not to go overboard and tidy my flat. I can trust you to keep it the disaster it rightfully should be.
Also, Taid has set me up with the son of a friend of his, and we have a date on Monday night; no matter what he will say to you or has said to you, I do not need any kind of help with my appearance or feminine wiles, that is absolutely assured.
Are you working late tonight? Please say the answer is no, so that you can come over with a bottle of firewhiskey and watch me bang my head on the table.
Well, I'm back on nights, as of yesterday: 6 to 6 for the next nine days now, and then I have five days off. I know it's difficult to see me during these rotationsespecially when I don't go home and just sleep in the on call room--though I do think these journals are an invaluable tool to stay connected, since I can steal away onsmokebreaks to check mine--but I was hoping that we could arrange a meeting and training session for this weekend, Saturday perhaps? I need the mornings to sleep, but early afternoon might work for a start time?
I am very much hoping you don't need to sleep tonight, because I think Teddy doesn't intend to. At all.
With you all having been discharged in the past few days, I thought I would check in and see how your transitions back home have been. Are you having problems? Any questions you have? Please, feel free to ask at your liberty and leisure.
To let you know, I work until six in the morning on Saturday, at which point I will be sleeping and then I am off rotation for the remainder of the weekend, but I would like to impress upon you that if you need anything to please let me know--your bravery last week was nothing short of heroic, and it is the least I can do to offer out any advise or assistance when you are in need. If I do not respond to a journal inquiry in due time, send an owl and tell it to not leave until I am roused.
I wish you all the speediest of recoveries.Bianca, I will see you Monday.
Hi sweetheart, I hate to let you down, but I fear that I am. I know I said that I'd come home after my shift ends on Saturday and stay the rest of the weekend, but I'm going to stay here in the city--I promise, though, to take you to a rather decadent lunch this week to make up for it a little.

I just discharged Susan Bones this morning; as well, Hermione and Luna will be discharged from the ward this afternoon. Hermione has made a full recovery, while Luna's injuries are, unfortunately, irreparable with current magic treatmentno matter what her father says.
I thought it might behoove you to be notified of a room change of a certain patient here in St. Mungo's. Hermione Granger can no longer be found in the critical trauma ward; instead, she is in Room 417, where she should hopefully reside for only a day or so more. And mostly just for my benefit as I monitor the effects of a draught I whipped up in the spirit of invention. Thank you, Hermione, for being such a willing case study: I had a lovely walk around the floor with you today--I've never had such an interesting conversation on arithmancy before!--and I hope you don't get too settled into your room, for I have great hopes to rudely kick you out of the hospital as soon as I can.
Just wanted you all to know about thisand give you a spot of very bright news in an otherwise dark day. Perhaps the rest of Dumbledore's Army would appreciate this information, too, to know that Miss Granger no longer resides in the most serious of wards. Merely for locating her, of course.
Between work and Ginevra Weasleyand what SuI think I'd like it if you met me at the door tonight with a double firewhiskey, neat.
I want to know when I became the voice of wisdom and what Moody and Albus would say instead. I really wish Albus were here.
I don't have time. It's the seventh circle up here.
Tell me you both are alright.
I have to go, a girl
We have a situation at the hospital.
